Our Staff

Adam Whitescarver

Executive Director

At the Chattanooga House of Prayer, Adam is responsible for the vision and direction of the ministry as well as oversight of things like the budget and fundraising. However, he still manages to oversee Pray Chattanooga, and is actively involved in several of the prayer networks happening around town. He has a passion to see churches and individuals possess vibrant prayer lives that help them make a difference in whatever sphere of influence God has given them.

Adam enjoys reading a myriad of subjects, watching movies, teaching, singing, most every kind of history, yard work, and his family. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in North GA with their four young children where they are active members of their local church and frequent shoppers of Costco and Aldi.

Micki Ann Harris

Spiritual Formation Director

Micki Ann has been in active ministry for 35 years as a trained lay counselor, teacher, serving in many and varied church leadership positions, and as a member of a vibrant healing prayer ministry. She also oversees the training of her church’s prayer ministry teams. She has invested in the lives of young moms, children, youth and adults. These ministry opportunities have been served alongside raising a family and a lengthy career in home education.

Micki Ann has been on staff at the Chattanooga House of Prayer since its inception in 2010 and currently serves as Spiritual Formation Director overseeing Rhythms Chattanooga.  Her delight is in seeing Sons and Daughters grow in wholeness and deep connection to God --this is her aim when planning a retreat experience, praying with others, or training a team of prayer ministers. Micki Ann also finds great joy in searching out Scripture and then sharing the bounty through a teaching, conversation, or a blog post.

Micki Ann and her husband Chuck have four grown children, two of whom are married, and one amazing granddaughter. They live in Sequatchie County nestled in the woods where beauty abounds. If you can’t find Micki Ann, try looking outdoors - she will be sitting on the deck in a patch of sunlight enjoying all that nature has to offer - probably staring and thinking, with a glass of iced tea, a book and a notepad close by.

Matthew Macaulay

Director of Creative Development

Matthew moved to Chattanooga in 2015 from London, England and is husband to the beautiful Micah and father to Eliana. Matthew loves to make music, write songs, and spend time in the company of others with the same passions and desires. Matt along with his wife, Micah, has invested many years in creative industries and are established as artists, Matthew and Micah. He has been ministering to others and leading teams in many different contexts and countries for over 18 years.
